    7. Wood chisel
    8. Level
    9. Plumb bob
  3. Layout a rectangle by the use of 6,8,10, and prove it by its diagonal.
  4. Demonstrate how to lay shingles.
  5. Describe the use of and distinguish between six different types of nails.
  6. Build one of the following no smaller than 4' x 4':
    1. Tool shed
    2. Dog house
    3. Play room
  7. When building the above project, use these features:
    1. Floor joist
    2. Shoe plate
    3. Double plate
    4. Felt roof
    5. Sub floor
    6. Top plate
    7. Conventional roof
    8. Shingles
    9. Window with weight-bearing header
    10. Door with weight- bearing header
    11. Fascia on eaves
    12. Siding
    13. Use plumb cat at top and seat out on bottom
